Review on Industrial Portable Anti Flare Butane Refillable by Nolan White

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the burner you are looking for.

I used to have a Blazer and now he has this flashlight. I can say that they are identical in every respect. Exactly the same flame, butane volume: exactly the same, weight, feel, performance: still as good as the Blazer but less than a third cheaper. I love it. Is this a direct copy/fake? Maybe, but the same goes for 12 dozen other flashlights that look exactly like this one. The difference is that this is a really awesome flashlight. To answer some of the negative reviews: * Learn how to properly fill your lighter with butane. Seriously, check it out on YouTube or something. - You have to turn it on its head. - You need to make sure the butane and lighter are aligned (and that the nozzle is standard) and push it FIRMLY into the receiver and hold it there for about 20 seconds. - THEN HOLD - Put on the butane and walk away from the lighter FOR AT LEAST ONE MINUTE (unless you want to set your hand on fire). Butane likes to seep around the fittings of all lighters as you fill them up, this one is no different. - Once you've filled it, the entire outer portion of the lighter (and your arm and hand too) will have enough butane and they'll burst if you're stupid enough to make a spark. This resolves within a minute - once that minute is up it works fine. You have burned yourself or your house - it will weigh on you. *For dabbing (no negative feedback on this as far as I can see - just a few general tips): - This gets a 25mm flute red hot in less than 30 seconds - I only heat up to 20 and that's usually more than enough for a decent session. * For food: - It's more of a sharp flame and very, very, very hot. - Fast passes result in nicely roasted, fluffy meringue ends - The steak needs a few more passes, but keep going or you'll end up cooking the steak past the ideal doneness simply because it's overly charred. Hooray. !
