Timers are fine. They feel really cheap. In the group of 4 I got only 2 worked. I was disappointed as I needed all 4 for the centers in my class. I couldn't send them back as I needed them immediately. It is difficult to remove the back cover to insert batteries. The two that work we use as a stopwatch and also to set the time the students should work for. They work as intended but are a distraction for kids as they will beep every minute and second you want them to be (e.g. if you set them to 20 minutes they will beep 20 times). I thought if you hold the minutes button it would increase with no sound but it still beeps every time.
