Review on 🐶 Husky Liners 98901 Black Weatherbeater Front & 2nd Seat Floor Liners for 2012-2017 Toyota Camry: Ultimate Protection and Perfect Fit by Samuel Blakeley

I've done a lot of research and asked friends what I can do to protect the carpet on my 2015 Camry XSE. It came down to 2 brands and 2 products; All-weather rubber mats or these liners from Weathertech and Husky. Both appear to be well known brands. Pretty much everyone I spoke to who owned both all-weather mats and these liners (as well as a few threads I found on various online forums) agreed that liners are the way to go. So after that was decided I had to choose between Husky and Weathertech. A few of my friends actually got the black Weathertech earbuds and said that while they liked them, the black color faded a bit (after a few years of use). After further research, I settled on the Husky as the satisfaction ratings seemed about the same, but they are $50 cheaper. So I will list some of the problems I had and if they got resolved: 1) The problem with the Toyota brand all weather floor mats seemed to be that they are smaller than the standard floor mats. It doesn't apply to these. They cover MUCH MORE than the original mats, including under the pedals. 2) Someone else mentioned that the feathers/spikes under the lining can easily scratch the leather/interior. Not this case. Just move the seats all the way forward/backward and be careful when installing them. If you're too rough I might see minor damage, but that's not the case. Do not worry. 3) Sliding on carpet: they DO NOT slide. General. Do not worry. 4) Are they sitting correctly? They do. The only thing I didn't like was that the trunk and throttle controls were covered and that area had to be cut with a razor. I've attached a picture of the cut out section. I could probably do a better job if I took my time and smoothed it out more, but I'm very impatient. (I also recommend that you shave off the burrs on the underside that would otherwise rub against the plastic part where the levers are located). But as for the fit, it's perfect. Everything fits perfectly and they look SHARP. For some reason they look better in person than in the photos. If you've been going back and forth like me, stop and just buy these earbuds. They're great, easy to install, and cheaper, but arguably a better alternative to the other options. I will return after having them for a year for an update. I checked the manufacturer's website but they are exactly the same price as Amazon but you are entitled to it so it's not difficult to buy them here. Another big plus is that they are made in the USA! Can you believe it? One of 6 items still made in America! What's not to like?
