My kid is so obsessed with his Rasculls helmet that I see him running around the yard and playing outside in it long after he's finished riding his bike or scooter and he's still just playing in it outside. Apparently it's so comfortable he forgets he's wearing it. He's also very proud when the neighborhood kids come to play when I hear other kids say things like "that's a cool helmet bro" (laughs). The spikes on the helmet. The top is also slightly flexible and bendable so you don't hurt yourself or others with it. The size is perfect for him aged 6 (1st grade) and can be adjusted to fit kids of different ages and should fit him for a while. This would make a great practical gift as it's fun to feel like a kid's toy, but it's kind of a sneaky way to get more protective gear into their arsenal for playing bikes etc. I would buy more from this brand in the future knowing how my child loves this item very much and sees that it is durable, comfortable, adjustable and well made with special attention to detail that children love. All in all, I highly recommend this.
