This will be my last review after purchase in August 2019. Before purchasing I had no experience or understanding of how 3D printing works or how to manage it. In the beginning it was just a desire to learn and explore. So, my first advice to everyone in the same place: prepare yourself very well for an uphill battle by trial and error and learn as much as you can. This can range from simple adjustments to learning how to actually scale and measure models, but it all falls into place when you get carried away and are passionate about learning something amazing. It has taken me a long time to finally understand the basic understanding of functionality and control, but my results have been amazing now that I have achieved such an understanding that my printer rarely has a day off when an idea pops into my head . Assembly is very important and I guide the advice on this review site. Take the time to carefully and constructively assemble the printer. There are many guides on the internet like YouTube that can help here. For a while it was my misalignment in one spot that caused constant problems and typos that made me think I had a bad block. That's where customer service came in, helping me resolve an issue as obscure and then incomprehensible as the placement of my belt on the device. Thanks to my introduction here at Amazon, they helped me solve a problem I had for weeks and finally achieved 100% printing success with no issues! In this way, I have gained a much deeper understanding and appreciation for the printer and customer service provided to me. At this point, a few months later, I had much more knowledge about how to recognize and transcend boundaries that I once thought impossible with the limited size of the scale. ! Do not be fooled! My printed sword that I have attached may be an indication of how far this 3D printer can push those limits! The level of detail is also beyond what I expected from a regular printer! Learning how to use the most functional slicer program like Cura (free software btw) helped me a lot to improve my prints. The basic slicer program included with this purchase really got me started, but Cura helped me expand and overcome the limitations that can be placed on a printer! Now I can model my own stuff and disassemble them to fit together! I've never been happier with math! To end my huge tirade! I'm very, very, very happy with this printer because it did what I expected and wanted - it taught me how to use a 3D printer. I strongly encourage you to look online for tutorials as Ender 3 is very popular on YouTube! Guides and help are almost endless! Find out what you're threading! PLA+ (Overture's trademark for durability) is now my best friend! Learn the correct heat for each filament type. Ender 3 is highly customizable with many mods available for purchase such as: B. new boards and print mod accessories to make your device run smoother! Learn how slicers work and how you can use them to manage your fingerprints! Boundaries can be pushed and imagination developed! And above all, be patient when it comes to questions and concerns. Initially I gave up using the printer for a few weeks earlier due to my installation error, but when I decided to fix it everything else was in perfect condition! Your life is much easier: Glass printer platform (I have a Creality, but you can choose by yourself) Creality Silent Board v1.1.5 is a bit like a simple 1:1 board replacement. Can't recommend this enough to start day one for a newbie like me for a simple life change! There are more complex and complicated boards out there for more robust features, but I recommend these if you think you're ready! Of course, more things are available, such as B. auto-leveling (BL Touch springs to mind) or a more heat resistant filament tube but I haven't had a chance to try them all as I got along fine without them but definitely see them as an easy upgrade life. I can only hope that this review has helped you! I love this car and what it has taught me! I can't wait to see what I can do and broaden my horizons!
