The manufacturer shouldn't say that so clearly. You should call it pure white. It's not even remotely clear. He is white, very white. The thread looks as white as the spool in the picture. Maybe whiter. It doesn't get better if you use it. It's just white, or Ultra Bright White would be a better description of the color. At the end of the description it is stated that it is not translucent and not transparent. Apparently that means he can't hide at all because he's WHITE. I would add an image but everyone knows the difference between transparent and white. Buy the color you want and forget about transparent if you want that material. Tenara should be ashamed to say it bluntly. What I call this is a costly mistake. The disclaimer should read: it's not clear it's white and if you don't believe me buy one, open the box and now it's your very expensive clear white thread.
