This is only possible with flush mounting if you drill a hole and run the wires through the back. Otherwise, there is no fixture (such as a groove) to route the wires out of the device. Mine is attached to a spot in my van where you can't drill a hole. So the wire has to be fed out to the side and the cover screwed on if it is rather crooked. Also note in the photos that it is attached with 2 screws. Please note that the screw holes are not visible on the front panel. Obviously the front panel snaps into place after the unit is screwed to the wall. But mine came fully assembled and there was no way to remove that outer paneling without damaging it or me! I had to drill two holes and install it so that the screws were showing. And finally this DIRTY blue light! I use it in my RV next to my bed. WHY is everyone getting crazy about these LEDs these days? The blue light is annoying in the dark! And it comes without a fuse, so make sure the circuit is protected! I would return it but there are a few other suggestions that don't require large holes. so i did it.
