Review on 🏠 Govee WiFi Outlet: Smart and Efficient Home Automation Solution by Matthew Hall

Bought 4 pieces to connect to 2 different wifi networks. Connected without much difficulty. All of these devices use the 2.4 GHz frequency. Unlike most brands, this involves a little more manual setup (ie exiting the Govee app, connecting to the device's WiFi, and then back into the app), but it's not difficult. Serious problem that renders them unusable: I have many similar devices, but this brand disconnects after a few minutes and doesn't reconnect until I disconnect and reconnect. They connect quickly to my 2.4GHz WiFi and can be used for about an additional hour before turning off. Many of my other devices don't have this problem. I was hoping to use 2 on one wifi network and 2 on another, both different routers, both common brands, so it's unlikely to be a router compatibility issue. None of the 4 stay connected. Another design complaint is that they're also bulky and block another outlet, which I think is a pain and poor design. This issue occurs with all round smart plugs and is not a deal breaker. However, the lack of the ability to maintain a Wi-Fi connection is certainly there.
