Review on New Wave Enviro Replacement Cartridge by David Estevez

I've been using the New Wave Enviro 10 Stage Plus water filter since 2008, it's been great, each filter lasted about a year, sometimes I could benefit a year and a half I drank less water than usual. The price of $80 I didn't mind any replacement filter as it lasted so long. this year they changed the filters, used to be plastic and translucent, every filter layer was visible, now the outside is white plastic, you can't see anything anymore, this new filter lasted me less than 8 months until my water started to make me sick when i drank it, for the last 10 years they have lasted almost a year and a half so i called the water board and everywhere and tried to figure out what was wrong with my water, then i tried my tap water and my filtered Water. , the tap water was ok, the filtered water tasted so bad and literally upset my stomach, that's when I realized my filter had gone bad in less than 8 months, the price hasn't come down, in fact they're a lot more expensive than they were before one Decade ago when I started buying them, but now instead of getting almost 18 months out of your filter, you get 8 for a whopping $80. I will never buy this filter again. I will try the water filtration system I saw on Amazon for only $30 in 10 years. It's hard to trust other filters that I've never used before, but after replacing this filter and the tremendous price of this filter, no longer worth it.
