Absolutely great alternative to the SmallRig cage at a fraction of the cost. The cage fits my Sony A7iii snugly and the build quality is pretty good, much better than expected. I personally use this cage with a different brand SmallRig top handle and HDMI side clamp and they all work well together. Here are a few things to consider: how SmallRig makes parts compatible in their own ecosystem. Be careful with the position and spacing of the screw holes on this cage when assembling your rig around it.
