It's infested with cockroaches - BEWARE - it's infested.

This is a NIGHTMARE! I only got this kit because I thought it would be nice to breed crickets instead of going to the pet store every two weeks. The kit arrived and I unpacked it on my dining table. FIRST BAD MISTAKE. Cockroaches live in this thing and now they are roaming my house. I HAVE NEVER PERSONALLY SEEN A TRAKAN IN MY LIFE. I fell asleep and it was on my pillow. Then it went against the wall and I was finally able to grab it. I put the cockroach in the bag. I took the whole cricket kit and put it in a trash bag. A few minutes later I heard the rustling of cockroaches, now in the garbage bag. I feel like I'm crawling out of my skin. Crickets live in our detached garage. We are extremely clean people, like at the OCD level. I've never had a cockroach in my home in my life, not even as a kid. When my kids saw a cockroach, they knew right away it wasn't a feeding roach. They said that this kind of cockroach is dirty and comes from the sewage. If that's true then the place it came from must be disgusting. I don't even know what to do. A fighter will come to my house. I can't sleep right now. This is very bad. If you buy this item, do not open it at home. I have not opened the product, just removed it from the Revain shopping box. Everything else is in the original packaging.

Pros
  • EGG PLATES: 5 pieces (12" x 12") per set. They can be placed in a plastic container or aquarium to create the perfect cricket habitat. Egg tiles can be placed on their feet or placed horizontally, alternate each level, or flip them to give the crickets enough space. Disposable for easy cleaning
Cons
  • Slightly torn
