This tool uses some paint. I bought this to paint one side of my house and it certainly did the job. It stays comfortably cool with prolonged use, which in turn keeps your hands cool. It did a great job removing damaged and peeling stains from the home. You have to be careful with it, it will get you to the finish quickly due to its power and vertical design. Two-hand operation is mandatory, which is not always possible from stairs or in certain situations. With this machine and a hydraulic lift, I was able to sand my entire house in about a day. The only criticism is the wave barrier. It broke after I wanted to change my first pad. The shaft is screwed to the right and the machine rotates to the right. The pad gets tighter on the shaft with each use. The small wave stop pin does not have enough force to hold back the pad change. I could still stick an Allen key in the hole and unlock the pad, but still. Otherwise he did his job. I will (hopefully) never have to use it to undress my whole house again.
