My 7 year old is very tall and skinny. The only reason I buy him canoe surf trunks is because they have an actual drawstring that can be tightened to fit his slim frame. The shorts are just the right length. He loves all his swimming trunks. They are well made and will hold up to every day at the pool, beach and swim lessons all summer long. The last canoe surf shorts I received lasted my son 2 years with heavy use. All patterns are very trendy. 5 stars from this mom and her 7 year old little guy. 😁
