Serious concerns about this product

I have some concerns about this toy. Pros: These are adorable animals, among which there are some unusual ones, such as a whale. Big brand building toys are compatible with them as they can be built on or have their figures attached to them. Here the similarity ends. there are no building instructions and some animals are not so intuitive to build. Some parts are still attached to the plastic trees, others are not. Some parts require a lot of pressure or force to install - a child cannot do this. . Caught together, they don't seem designed to be taken apart and it looks like they'll break if you try, so don't put your foot in the wrong place! Some parts are very small - the panda's ears are SEPARATED. pieces and the size of half a pea. They don't fit exactly. Don't give a panda to a kid who still puts things in their mouths. The same goes for cows - their horns are also separated and about pea length, but narrow. They also don't fit snugly and can fall out and cause choking. This toy is clearly designed for young children in its design. The design and color of the animals appeal to preschoolers and toddlers, but the mentioned design issues and ill-fitting little details don't reflect suitability for this age group. In terms of quality, don't expect the same quality as the leading building block brand. These are the first few days but I don't see them lasting well. The plastic is flexible, it's thin, and it feels like it could break easily, like they might break under the pressure required to hold them together, although neither broke. The whale, in particular, felt weak - the lack of instructions didn't contribute to that. Even if it is only 3 parts, the assembly process is important, otherwise the hinge head will be very difficult to attach (it needs to be installed before connecting the upper case to the lower case). This can be solved with a simple step-by-step image. Finally, this product does not come in branded packaging. This is a cello wrapped set of parts in an unmarked box. He screams "kill" and also reinforces my doubts about safety. I will only let my grandson play with this under supervision until I can assess if the toy is holding properly and if small parts are moving. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this item until the manufacturer fixes some of the issues.

Pros
  • Makes a great gift - it can be used for birthday gift bags, cake decorations, Christmas socks or an Easter basket. Children will enjoy using them to create their own city, jungle, forest, zoo, garden or even the sea.
