I don't understand why it is so difficult to find good quality non-slip shoes for my job in the restaurant. Advertised as non-slip, I found them very lacking when working on wet floors and going to the kitchen/utensils. As a longtime New Balance customer, when I discovered these I thought they would be great. NB is one of the few shoe sizes I can wear (13 3E). They have a narrower toe box than other NB sneakers; However, the material is flexible enough that your toes don't feel very uncomfortable. However, the same material retains heat like a plastic bag. Yes these shoes are designed to repel liquids but my goodness my feet get so hot in them. The insole was a joke (like most shoes). When I Dr. Scholl's shoes added, it was too tight. Although these shoes weren't the best, you could buy worse restaurant shoes.
