Review on 💡 Dimmable Electric Smart Wi-Fi LED Light Bulb by Jared Perry

These bulbs are awesome WHEN you figure out how to use them. Figuring out how to use them can be a nightmare. You need a dedicated Feit app and a specific WiFi connection (2.4GHz to be exact). My WiFi SHOULD automatically adjust to the devices and their needs, but it didn't work AT ALL for these bulbs. They told me to take out my wifi router and set up another wifi which the lights could then detect via the app/my phone. While the application is trying to connect to the bulb, the bulbs will flash quickly (and annoyingly if you have more than 1 bulb in the lamp like I do). Once connected, the lights stop blinking, but if it takes you a few tries to connect and figure out the WiFi issues, the blinking can become an annoyance (in fact, it stopped me after about 30 minutes of trying and error gives you a headache) while your neighbors might think you're throwing a rave party or something. For people prone to cramps, I don't recommend setting this up yourself. Find a friend, as the blinking function depends on the bulb - some blink slowly, others quite quickly. Blinking just means it's ready to connect. It also requires a little extra mixing to set it up to work through Alexa or Google Home, but it's really nice to have it all connected. There are some fun tweaks you can try or a schedule you can create so you don't have to come home in the dark. The pears themselves seem to last VERY long. They're not actually glass, but a durable plastic that lets a lot of light through. I recommend this product if you don't mind setting it up. 4/5 stars only because of the issues I had, but 5 stars for the quality.
