Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazed at the cost and performance of these fans.

This review is for the T3SYC3-6 SYNC RGB 5V 6 block version. When checking reviews of these budget RGB fans, make sure that you filter by the specific model you're looking for. Every company that makes them produces at least 3 different models for some weird reason, and because of the way Revain deals work, reviews of all the different models get mixed up in a bunch of conflicting opinions. Now we come to the assessment. Wow these fans are amazing. They push out a significant amount of air and are actually surprisingly quiet and they look fantastic. All connections are completely standard. It comes with a fan hub which is quite large but has 7 PWM fan headers and 7 3-pin 5V RGB headers, draws power from Molex and plugs into the PWM fan header on your motherboard. It can also be plugged into an Asus Aura Sync connector or other brand equivalent, but I haven't tried it. This allows you to control any fan and additional fans or RGB accessories. The great thing about this hub is that it has a reset switch input to control lighting effects. You can either connect your case's reset switch terminals to it to control the lighting with the reset switch, or use the included mini switch. This can be a bit inconvenient as the hub is obviously inside your case so you'll have to get creative and get it out of your case somehow (the wire is long enough to do this). The fans themselves aren't really PWM, they're 3-pin DC, but the hub sends and receives PWM signals to and from the motherboard. I'm not entirely sure if this counts as PWM, but I've heard of other companies already doing this (NZXT Kraken for example only daisy chain their PWM fans across 3 pins) so I wouldn't worry about that . A 3-pin 5V RGB daisy chain cable is connected to the PWM cable that goes to your motherboard, allowing you to control the lighting of the entire hub with your motherboard if you wish. They had to make compromises in terms of build quality. They appear cheap and lightweight, but that shouldn't be a problem since you don't have to fiddle with case fans once they're installed. The screw holes are too narrow and it requires a lot of force at the first time. The design of the fan blades is a mix of airflow and static pressure, so they should work well as both a case fan and a heatsink fan. At high speeds they are relatively noisy (like most fans). They still move a lot of air at low RPM and with 6 fans I really hope you don't use them all at 100%. Pros: Great airflow and acoustics. Nice targeted lighting. Perfect light diffusion through fan blades. PWM control. DC fan controller and 3-pin 5V RGB) ASUS Aura Sync/Compatible 7-port non-Brand fan hub included. Supplied with Velcro cable ties. $40 for 6 ARGB fans. It's not the smoothest I've seen, but it has a decent impact. Overall I think this is an incredible buy for $40. If you're like me and can't justify buying 3 fans for over $100 (cough, Corsair) then they're a must have. Most RGB fans in this price range have proprietary 6-pin headers that don't allow you to control speed or effects from the motherboard. However, these fans are FULLY standard. upHere truly sets the industry standard for affordable RGB fans. I was skeptical at first as they are so cheap but I would buy them again 7 times.
