I bought this adapter to connect a second monitor to my laptop. When I took out the adapter, it already looked very cheap, like it was made out of cheap plastic. When I first connected my HDMI the quality on the monitor was very poor, the colors just looked worse compared to another HDMI adapter I connected to my laptop. I thought it might just be the monitor so I switched adapters and again the color was very poor on the second monitor. I chose another adapter that was more expensive and it worked great.
