I received this stool for free as part of a promotion; I have bought two others from the same seller at a previous date. The shop owner is polite and quick to answer questions. Excellent quality pouf. I smelled leather when I opened the package and it lasted several days. The seams are even and strong. The embroidery on the top is also symmetrical and durable; Even after several months of use, the embroidery looks like new. Keep in mind that they don't come pre-filled like all the premium/genuine poufs I've bought do. I filled mine with Styrofoam bean bag fillers from a craft store; this creates a comfortable seat (or footstool) that is not too soft or hard. I sewed up the zipper to make sure it doesn't open when other people move or sit on it. Usually this is not necessary, the zipper closes by itself. I also added brown tape to the bottom seam to prevent the zipper from scratching the wooden floor; This works well and the band is not visible unless the stool is turned upside down. For those who have carpeted floors or aren't worried about possible scratches, the tape isn't a problem. Overall I LOVE my poufs and would recommend this store/item to anyone.
