That's exactly what I didn't need! I hang it above the utility room door and it turned out to be a much better solution than hanging sweaters and napkins on a collapsible drying rack. Also, I feel like things are a lot less "crispy" after air drying than when I hang them on a hanger. I didn't realize how much the bars created lines. It has great airflow and all my clothes dry very quickly. I love that I can pull it out and then fold it against the door when not in use. MUCH better than I thought I wanted - a collapsible clothes airer based on a pole for the door! When it arrived the two door hangers were different sizes, one fit the door and the other didn't. It was clear that one was defective. I contacted the seller and I had another one before I knew about it. Customer service was amazing. I asked if they could just send me a working door hanger but I got a brand new set. This one is perfect. While I got by without a door hanger by hanging the ribbons on the hangers, it was pretty unreliable and caused a lot of frustration (I actually had the perfect hangers for the job, and the knots on the ribbons helped). However, I am completely free of disappointment and very satisfied with the customer service. So if your block isn't perfect, it will be fixed completely. It also folds up nice and compact if you don't want to leave it by the door all the time like I did. It costs double what I paid for it - things dry wrinkle free!
