Eventually you need replacement axle nuts because you lose one and the threads loosen over time from changing wheels every day. That's exactly what I did. My replacement research: On modern quads, this is typically a 5/16-24 axle nut. I could have gone to the hardware store and bought a lot more for a lot less, but I was not taken. They fit and stay secure. Yes, support your local little skateboard business, but I didn't have one close by.
