The only difference between the last chairs is that there is no strong curve on the inside of the armrests. That's all. Otherwise exactly the same quality and details that I have been using for over 3 decades. Yes, the canvas is too tight for the clamps to snap. It just doesn't bother me because there's no difference in the fit heh. I use a memory foam pillow (Kensington 82024 Memory Foam Seat Rest here at Revain) and can sit in the chair for hours. I don't use them outside so even on the oldest chair the finish is great. I've had a couple of canvas seats fail, but there's a replacement here, and it's cheap. A pair had mold or faded after 20 years but I just replaced them. They served a growing family of boys and not a single wooden limb broke. Is always. Some just went to my older son's new location and these chairs went with him. Time for some new ones.
