I got them a few weeks ago and took them on a weekend hike for an overnight fee. The device showed 1 of 4 remaining stripes after about 4 hours. I charged it overnight and the next morning the device showed 2 out of 4 bars. Thinking it was just a misconfiguration I posted on the Garmin forums. Within a few hours I received a response telling me to post in the wrong forum and suggesting I should submit a support ticket or try the German forum (pointless as I don't speak German - why isn't there a board for everyone devices on English forum) sold here?), which resulted in the thread being immediately banned, so I couldn't follow him. Support sent me a replacement battery which I tested today and it has the same issue. So at the moment I don't know, I don't know if I have two bad batteries or if the device doesn't show the charging status correctly. It's useless anyway - I almost certainly need to know how long my batteries will last.
