Review on Able Signal 50 Miles Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna: Thin Flat, Reversible Black & White for VHF UHF FM Signals by Jamal Edwards

Brilliant! Excellent purchase!

I live in the weird metropolitan area of San Fla where all the stations are either 20+ miles north or 20+ miles south of my home. This has always made it difficult to receive ANY signals. Also, all the stations are in opposite directions. In the pre-digital days, I was told that I would need a big ol' motor antenna on the roof to get anything. This little $20 antenna worked pretty well, picking up about 20 channels on the television set on an interior wall in the center of the two-story house. BUT. Then I decided to add a small 5 foot section of RG6 coax that DirectTV had left behind years ago and WOW! This quality piece of cable made a world of difference! I started getting 58 or more stations! Then my only problem was finding a place to get ABC and CBS at the same time or from the same place. The antenna was found to have been moved (and rescanned) even 2 inches to one side or the other, not to mention changing walls or wall sections, each time changing the reception of stations. Finally found the place I was looking for, so to speak. The RG6 cable worked a bit, like a fine tune! The picture quality is now BETTER than the cable! I bet if the flimsy coax cable that goes to all those little flat antennas (from all the manufacturers) was a higher quality RG6 they could it would bank the cable companies in no time! Antenna, Chromecast, PlayToChromecast extension for Chrome browser (allows Chromecast to seamlessly stream ALL videos, not just those that Chromecast supports), and BYE BYE ComcastTV!
