Keyboard preferences are clearly personal, but this one suits me perfectly. Pros (for me): 1. Very quiet; no crackle clink2. A premium feel similar to high-end Mac3 keyboards. The stroke is longer than most chiclet boards, but shorter than typical mechanics4. Weighted base and rubber feet keep it stable5. Low Profile6. Two tilt positions (folding support)7. Price - I like it more than "mechanics" 3 times more expensive8. Black with easy-to-read lettering and graphics for a premium look and feel. Cons: Made in China (nothing personal, the Chinese make great products, but I'm willing to pay more for an American). This keyboard has all the quality features. my mac bluetooth board, but with full button set and slightly longer travel. I use the IOGEAR switcher to switch between 3 desktops and any laptop or tablet I connect. One of the desktops is an iMac and the other laptop is a Mac; the rest is wine. I have about 10 keyboards and after a month of use this is my favorite.
