I bought this headset in November last year. A few months ago, in August 2019, within a year of purchase, the headset began to periodically go out and not broadcast. I asked for a replacement with a new factory headset of the same model. They initially agreed to this request, but later another representative reversed that decision and insisted on replacing only the wireless adapter. I was sent back the same defective headset. I opened it up last night and hooked it up to my system. It still behaves the same and has the same problem. The representative told me before sending it back to me that if it doesn't work then the problem must be on my side, with my system. Lucky, as a drowned man. The product is STILL under warranty. This is the second defective product I have purchased from Kingston. I bought one of their wired headsets a few years ago and it also needed to be replaced. Kingston seems to have poor quality control in their factory and when their product goes bad they don't support their customers. When I first reported a wireless issue with HyperX Cloud 9, they should have just replaced the headset with a new one, no questions asked. That would be the behavior of a company that believes in its own product. If there are only a few broken ones, it's better to simply replace them easily and make the customer happy. It would have been cheaper on your part in terms of saved support hours and would have contributed to a good relationship with the customer. If they want to return an old product to try for the future, so be it, but they had to replace the product with a new one. Since they are so reluctant to make this simple replacement, I can only conclude that they must produce so many faulty products that it would be prohibitively expensive to replace them all. Don't make the mistake I made by trusting this company twice. and give them hundreds of dollars of their hard earned money only to be disappointed. Before you experience the headaches and frustrations I experience, buy another headset from a different manufacturer.
