Review on Enhance Connectivity and Wiring πŸ”Œ Solutions With StarTech Industrial Electrical Products by Alan Singh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

After all! A way to make something longer for $10 is not a scam!

When I was buying a surround sound system for my bedroom and wanted to put the subwoofer where it was supposed to be and the satellite speakers where they were supposed to be, I ran into a problem that many men in the Bedrooms are facing age. Sometimes there just isn't enough time to put it where you really want it. Of course I could return the box, but I thought I'd try a workaround. I noticed that the connector on the back of my woofer is nothing more than a standard 9-pin serial connector. I checked the Logitech website (yes, Logitech install speakers, but that's not an advertisement for them) to see if they sell an extension cord and they didn't. They also strongly state that they don't have such a cable and don't support anything to extend it. Like many sad, desperate men, I wanted to take a risk and decided to give up my ten dollars if it would make my cable last long enough to put in a box. Miracle of miracles, he did his job. I've been using this cable every day since then as it matches the box it's plugged into much more than I've ever been for the boxes I'm plugged into. big apartment or move it to my living room for everyone to enjoy. I had no sound or interference issues. I would say the only downside is that it is cream colored. I know a lot of people want black because they think it looks neater with the rest of their electronics, but to be honest like all my other speaker wires it's well hidden and out of sight so it really doesn't matter. If I ever decide to put it in the living room, the off-white is easier to hide along the floorboards as it blends better with the walls. I've read comments on other sites that this cable was crap because it doesn't work with a people monitor so let me stop and let you know this is NOT a monitor cable extender. although they both may have the same form, they are by no means compatible with each other. For this you need a monitor cable extension instead. As for the customer support (for some reason too many product reviews ONLY focus on this part and ignore the actual product rating in the product reviews. You get it) Shipping was extremely affordable and fast. It was packaged in a bubble envelope and arrived a few days after I ordered it. The product itself was so completely maintenance free and error free that I have no way of being honest about the phone support or the return policy.
