For some reason historically I haven't had any luck buying sheets. I have chosen not to trust artificial "cheap" synthetic materials where every speck of dust, hair, fiber, etc. within a mile radius is attracted to it and never comes off. So I was young and practically broke and didn't know any better, but I learned my lesson. I chose cotton and flannel for an even softer choice. However, to my chagrin, I found that I was still learning. I recently tried some "fun" sheets for the winter, which ended in disaster when the blue dye seeped into my skin (almost) like a Smurf. At this point, I didn't trust my own judgment and was overwhelmed by the choice Revane offered me in my quest. Cotton flannel bed sheet. I guess I was still subconsciously hoping for something funny to placate my inner child. But as is so often the case, my first choice turned out to be this Morgan Home Fashions Cotton Turkish Flannel bedding set, which I dismissed as not fun enough. I went ahead and ordered them and I'm so glad I did. I love her. They look softer after every wash. (I use Gain products) They hold their shape, nice and even, smooth and tidy the way I love that sheets are so warm and inviting after long stressful days. I feel incredibly snuggly and wrapped in softness, and while the simple check pattern isn't particularly 'fun', it's very inviting. Comfort, and highly recommended by me, for someone familiar with reed making. Try them!
