I ordered dark blue checkered flannel sheets and washed them in hot water before use. However, the day after the first use, my husband and I woke up to find our exposed skin had turned blue from contact with the fabric. I'm going to wash them a few more times in hot water to see if that helps get rid of the excess color but it's safe to say they probably aren't the best quality if you're after a night out like Violet from Willy Wonka wake up. . . sleep on them.

I need a light flannel sheet year round in Northern California and this set fits the bill. Department store flannel bedding but the price of this set matches the quality. I don't expect this set to last more than two years simply because the weave isn't particularly tight (which you can tell on a lot of non-flannel sheets). The color matched the photo.
