Review on 🔥 TYC 700050 Subaru Replacement Blower Assembly: Enhanced Airflow Efficiency for Optimal Performance by Patrick Goodrich

I ordered this to replace an aging original block in my 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback. This unit is identical in form factor to the factory engine, however there are some differences in the materials used. The impeller cone and hose are stiffer than their original counterparts (possibly due to the age of the original parts) and cracked during installation. The hose wasn't too much of a problem because I just reused the OEM. But now I have to pull everything out again because a crack in the replacement impeller cone causes a loud hum in the car after only a few days and will hopefully exchange it for an OEM impeller. If I can't, everything will be returned. TL:DR: You can probably safely buy this for your particular application, but be careful not to crack the plastic during installation. UPDATE: I was able to get the factory impeller on the new motor and put it back on the car. However, with the engine off, I rummaged around in the air duct and pulled out a 20 year old piece of paper rag with a piece of chewing gum. Now I'm convinced it was that and not a cracked wheel. If I had to do it all over again I would just buy the motor without a new impeller and swap the factory wheel.
