This fan motor is perfect for my 2002 Chevy Astro Van. Recommend to anyone who needs to replace fan motor. I also replaced the resistor pack with this as I only had one speed prior to replacing this motor. I also recommend having some spare vacuum hoses and replacing them due to their dry rot. They break while you change them. All you have to do to replace this engine is remove the coolant and washer fluid reservoirs. Then loosen the coolant hoses and cut open the motor housing. A few screws and the motor comes out. I managed to remove it without removing the wheel from the motor. Then install a new motor and wheel. Then put everything back together and enjoy the air conditioning or heat in your van. We wish you every success with the repair
