I bought it a few months ago. I use it with HP EliteBook 840 G5 (newer laptop). I also have two new HP monitors. Initially the dock worked perfectly, both monitors were in use and floated for 2-3 months without any problems. Then the monitors started interfering when the laptop was docked, forcing me to reboot to clear the display. Then the docking station no longer recognized the second monitor. After much frustrating searching on HP's help site and forums, I downloaded a driver that allows both monitors to be displayed, but not in tandem (they just show the same information). I am very glad I bought an HP laptop, docking station and monitors. If they don't work, HP wants to charge me for technical support that isn't part of their helper bots. I found HP's help page difficult to browse because the help bots didn't recognize clearly defined questions or model numbers. The only help I found was on non-HP help pages. I'm not sure I will buy HP products again. When something goes wrong it is very difficult to find support when the product is faulty. I would not recommend this product to anyone who does not have average tech support experience.
