works. Along with rear turn signals and an alarm that kinda goes off if the bike is touched/pushed. The description doesn't say it, but the control panel unscrews from the steering wheel mount. You activate it after taking it off and then putting the remote control in your pocket. I'm not entirely sure how effective this is as a deterrent, but how many people have heard of a bike sounding the alarm. It would be really better if there was a front turn signal!
