I ordered the first pair for my husband to try on and he liked them so much I had to order two more pairs before he went on a business trip to Cuba. These blacks are significantly more expensive than other colors of the same style etc but on a different page but my normally cheap skate husband was willing to pay the difference and all in black. I will never understand men! Those shorter legs are hard to find in modern styles, but he hates long shorts. Follow the picture. The first pair was 36 in the waist and a little tight. Ordered a 38 in the waist (he usually wears a 36) and they were very comfortable although we were concerned they would be too big. The fabric is lightweight and dries quickly as hand wash them when traveling. Bags and stuff satisfied my picky husband! Would buy again after wearing out! There will be time with three identical pairs.
