I tried the 5.11 Taclite Pro but they were too tight in the waist. I'm retired 6'2 200 lb with an old age gut. The taclite pro in 36 waist was too tight. 38 waist was too baggy in seat and thigh. I tried these Stryke pants in 36x34, which is my normal size (except Carhartt which always run 1 size too small in waist). The Stryke fit my waist in 36 but they are a slim fit. They run a little short on me-wish I would have got 36 length. But I kept the 36x34 Stryke pants. They're a real high quality pant. I also have TruSpec Pro-flex and Xpedition and they are also great pants in 36x34. They fit me a little better, but they have mesh panels for cooling. I'm not sure how they'll hold up over the long haul. The mesh doesn't seem as durable but time will tell. Overall, I really like the 5.11 Stryke and the 2 Tru Spec noted above. The Propper pants fit very well but they are a notch below the Stryke and 2 Tru Specs. If you're tight on cash, Propper might work for you. If you can afford them, the Stryke and Tru Specs are better IMO.
