I bought this hammer 47 years ago when I bought my first house. A retired contractor across the street taught me how to hammer nails, said I needed a heavier hammer for the carcass but ran out of money so I went for it. After five repairs it still vibrates well. I've hammered 16d knobs and nails with it, and what it lacks in weight in frame hammers it makes up for by being easy to use all day (light weight). No series hammer, but 100% universal.
