Unless you're replacing a bad or old fan, don't buy.

Well, the packaging is nice and the cooler looks great. My problems arose when installing the fan. I was missing a part for the mount and the instructions are almost minimal. I was hoping to replace an old am2 pedestal fan but it wasn't compatible. I have to buy a separate am2 bracket to mount this fan, which I didn't want to do. I decided to install it on my socket 115x computers. I found an old mount and moved the parts around. although it went well. The pressure I had to apply to adjust was uncomfortable. I felt like I would break the motherboard or the plastic bracket. Then came the Reformation. Compared to the idle speed of the stock Intel fan, it was 5-6 degrees lower, which is nice. At exercise levels, it was relatively the same as a standard ventilator. During the games I had 64-68 degrees. I have the same in stock. In general, if you have an old computer that is overheating and you have clamps, then go for this cheap solution. If you are looking for a low temperature game with an easy setup look elsewhere, I recommend the 400 gammax. It includes everything you need to install on almost any computer. Has its mounts for AMD and Intel. This cooler is not just an Intel 115x bar. Also, I'm sending this fan back asap as I don't need it and it comes with missing parts.

Pros
  • Multi-compatible
Cons
  • Uncertain
