I bought this to use as a simple 'alarm clock' for my little ones as we didn't need a fancy laugh (and still didn't have room for it on their little bedside tables). ! ). I bought a cute night light to pair with this plug and it works great! Pros: ➕ Easy to use and set up ➕ The app is very easy to use ➕ Light is off when off (but on when plug is on) ➕ Great for scheduling or manual on/off ➕ Easy connection to our Wi-Fi ➕ Numerous functions: schedule, timer, random selection and mailing. ➕ Compatible with Alexa/Google Home (we don't have them personally so I can't specifically comment on them, but judging by the simplicity of the app I think it works well with them!) Cons: ➖ You have to use it every time re-enable it when you unplug it (which makes sense), but you'll also need to re-add your schedules. I was hoping this would keep the schedules in the app because we can pass this along to parents/relatives, but it's no big deal. It's backed up quickly and you can easily add your schedules back in. ------------------------------- -- ------ There is "random"- and "Circle" functions and I can see they come in handy when you're away but want it to appear like you're home to ward off intruders. I'm sure there are other uses for them that I can't think of right now. For now we're only planning to use a schedule and timer, but I see that the other two features will come in handy at some point. I love how practical it is and I think I'll be buying more for Christmas lights or something! They are affordable and very easy to use! Buy it! 😃
