Review on 🍖 Grain-Free Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets Wet Dog Food, Venison & Sweet Potato, 13 oz (12-Pack) by Heather Genevish

This food is great! We have an (almost) 3 year old French Bulldog who has suffered from food allergies and 3 episodes of pancreatitis/gastroenteritis since we adopted her as a 4 month old pup. On the vet's recommendation we have tried Hill's Prescription Diet I/D, Z/D and I/D Low Fat in the past but she was still having itchy/allergic/uncomfortable reactions. Our vet is great and I feel like he really cares about our dog, but I was determined to find a food that was better for our dog and more affordable for us (prescription diets are expensive). I did a lot of research on various dog forums and found that this dog food brand and taste has received a lot of praise from many other dog owners (including French owners). My husband and I first purchased this food for our dog from our local pet store (Super Pets) in the fall of 2014 and then started here. Natural Balance is a really great brand and this flavor is great for dogs that want a food option with limited ingredients, no grains etc. Our dog has been eating this food for almost a year with no problems (no problems with pancreatitis or allergies!). Unfortunately, she ate some weed late last summer of 2015 and eventually became allergic to the herb, leading to a bout of pancreatitis. After a stay at the vet clinic she went back to prescription food for a few months and we also did a full environmental allergy panel to reduce if not eliminate future environmental allergy issues. We recently switched her to Natural Balance Chicken and Sweet Potato flavors (we found that her allergy test showed chicken was the best protein for her - chicken was lower on her "allergy scale") and she's doing a great job. Taste too - she likes both wet/canned and dry pellets.
