I recently decided to switch brands of shampoo because I noticed that American Crew had changed the composition of their products that I normally use (you can tell by looking at the new batch compared to the old one), which reduced its effectiveness and began to cause problems with the scalp. After seeing Woody's while shopping with my former barber at professional stores, I decided to give it a try. Flavor is what AC switched to. Also, I find that this shampoo cleans my hair and scalp very well and doesn't require me to use a lot of product (maybe a quarter size drop). It also rinses well compared to AC and other brands I've tried. Shortly after the change, the problem with the scalp was eliminated and has not recurred. I suggest trying a small bottle first rather than a large one in case you're still having trouble with it. All in all, Woody's Shampoo will be my regular shampoo now. at least until they reformulate it at some point, as most brands do (especially if the company is bought by a larger corporation).
