Test time: I tested a scoop of washing powder - 1 month (about 56 downloads). I ordered: Crystal Wash brand ($60 for 2) AND Beron brand ($21 for 2).1. THEY WORK. BUT 2 balls is good for small/medium loads, 3-4 balls for a full puck if you like to pack your washing machine. Must be at the bottom of the cargo.2. I liked Beron better. They used more ceramic beads inside and felt heavier.3. In order for them to function, water must flow through them. While my fast cycles were fine, I enjoyed using my volumetric cycle due to the greater water flow.
