When I shop for toddlers, I always think about how long it will be before the child outgrows playing with the gift. My own daughter received many gifts as a child that were only new for a short time before she entered a new stage of development. I loved that this desk had so many features and could see my 2 year old spiritual nephew using it in many different ways for years to come. It's solid and well made, and I'm happy to see it's getting a lot of use out of it. It's great that he can use it for sand and water play and as a small desk long after he's outgrown the big blocks. I recommend it to everyone as a solid gift for children.
