I'm only deducting 1 star because your dog might not like it. Our 2 chihuahuas get heartburn from some flavors of canned food - they seem to be rich, maybe because they are high in protein. They spit and don't seem to enjoy it. We also had issues with the Blue Buffalo chicken flavor, and it's not just about that flavor/brand. (And no, it's not poisoning or anything bad, and no, it's not China — seriously, folks.) Just to save money, we tried mixing canned pumpkin and some white rice, and it stopped, but we will obviously not get this aroma again, even if they love it. That's the one that smells so good, I want to eat it! It has a soft texture, for children you just have to break it drop by drop. Very soft, unlike Hill's Science Diet which has to be crushed and grated, it's so hard and dry. (Of course, none of the Hills flavors cause heartburn.) By the way, we don't feed them grain-free food every day. We find that it's not a good idea to have everything anyway - not too much protein and not too much grain - the best way out is to eat a little balanced.
