Great for BBK Big Bore Kit from 49cc to 100cc Improved carburetor for maximum performance, a few tweaks

I love how this 24mm carb works with my Big Bore Kit from 49cc to 100cc is working. A stock 49cc carburetor held the scooter back. This 24mm carburetor came with 35 pilot jets and 98 main jets. I've been experimenting with jet sizes and now I have a 100 main jet and a 44 pilot jet in the carburetor. It works fine, but in the future I will install a larger main jet. My scooter's top speed now is about 40 mph on flat roads in Southwest Florida. I would like to point out that if you buy a 24mm carb to upgrade a big bore kit like I did, you will need a larger 24mm intake manifold as well as bearings. The 49cc intake will not work. So order intake manifold for 150cc Gy6 engine. I know it's tempting to order a kit with a 24mm carburetor, intake manifold and filters for only $30, but the carburetor in the kit I bought was junk and I had to return it, adding to my scooter's downtime . T-piece for vacuum hose connections. For some reason my scooter started very poorly i.e. I had to spray starting fluid to make it start once fitted. After several attempts to swap out the nozzle and tedious adjustments to the idle screw, I found that my scooter's vacuum wasn't strong enough to ensure a constant FLOW of GAS from the faucet. I discovered this by bypassing the faucet and going straight from the gas tank to the carburetor (only with a small gas filter), so I removed the vacuum tee and just hooked up a vacuum hose to the side of the carburetor. Now it starts easily, always the first hit.
