I bought some of these Chroma cables to replace all my USB B to USB A cables in my studio. I couldn't rely on taking the key to my gigs or other studios, so I needed a solution. Boom! These colored cables appeared. I used to have USB-B to USB-A Chroma cables, still have them, but now that my Macbook Pro only has USB-C ports I've had to replace all my cables. This is necessary if you have a computer with only USB-C ports. I don't like keys and have heard horror stories about them failing in live performances.
