Review on Pro Ject Pre Box S2 Digital by Agustin Conner

I use this product in my main hearing aid. It replaced a product that was several times more expensive than the previous one and had almost the same features. This product sounds a lot better, is more flexible and takes up a lot less space than the DAC it replaced. It also has a fully functional remote control which was not available in the previous DAC. In fact, I am amazed that a product with such features and high quality can be offered at such a price. I don't use it as a preamp. I set the volume knob to full volume and controlled the volume with a very high quality dedicated analog volume knob, so I didn't evaluate its use as a preamp. The rest of the functionality is top notch and I would highly recommend this DAC to anyone looking for one in the $400-$2,000 price range. This is the real deal!
