It's always nice to get exactly what you expect. There are several LED strip kits and components available at Revain and elsewhere on the web. I chose this all-in-one RoLightic kit for a number of reasons, but primarily the cost. Honestly, even if something doesn't work well, how do you keep costs down? Others note that the adhesive backing isn't the best. Think of the surfaces you can use the strip on and understand that there is no single solution to this problem. Folks, there are many double-sided tapes and glues that can make this job easier and faster. Also note that proper surface preparation is essential - make sure you place the strip on a smooth, clean surface or you will run into problems. I used this kit (and all of its parts!) closet lights to replace 15 year old halogen "hockey pucks". The lighting is now even, generous and delights my wife to no end. :-) Now that I've installed this kit, I plan to buy more to install the fender, and while this particular kit is *not* waterproof, I plan to experiment a little after I've applied my own coating have, and so to give our kitchen a very modern, practical and attractive lighting. I would ask RoLightic to provide some detailed instructions on how to properly connect the connectors and the LED strip. This is a simple process, but it can be a problem for those without hands. Also note that my controller flickered a bit, which really annoyed my wife; RoLightic was very kind and replaced the controller for free. Excellent customer service! Thank you!
