Really wanted to like it :/

I've been looking for the 'perfect' keyboard case for the iPad 7th gen but unfortunately I haven't been able to find it yet. First, I bought a cheap Finite case. This one seemed great. It folded well, the keyboard was detachable, and the material was acceptable. Excellent viewing angles and the ability to slide or fully detach the magnetic keyboard. However, the keyboard was terrible. Very loud and felt like it was coming out of a $0.25 gumball machine. I decided to bite the bullet and buy this one. At first it seemed great. The keyboard is amazing, solid and quiet (that's one of the main features I was looking for. There's only one viewing angle, which isn't ideal for flying or typing on an airplane when it's on your lap on the Lying on the couch or in bed. My biggest criticism is the tablet mode. In this mode, part of the iPad slides under the back of the keyboard. If you release it with one hand, it slides off. When used on the couch or in bed and You adjust it, it slips, the only way to prevent this is to ALWAYS hold it firmly with one hand, or use two hands (which doesn't work if you're playing games or swiping with one hand.) Also in the When folded, the keyboard is on the outside and can scratch or get dirty, aligns well and still has a slipping problem, I will unfortunately send it back and continue to search for the "perfect" body, which I am very happy with am satisfied I wonder. I just ordered a Logitech keyboard/trackpad combo. and durable folio. I'll see if they get better, but I highly doubt it.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • I'll write back later
