Bought this mainly to use my phone or tablet as a portable monitor for server/test bench. I also have a DSLR so maybe over time it will be used for its intended purpose. But I can use my phone as a monitor for my dyno or my tablet as a monitor for a docked Nintendo Switch. I wouldn't use it for competitive FPS games, but it works fine for my purposes. The build quality is all metal and solid. The USB meter showed it draws 0.35A at 5V when connected to a PC or charger. and 0.5A at 5V when powered by the phone via a USB-A OTG adapter. There are occasional stutters, but watching the Netflix episode at the link was smooth overall.
