Review on 🚗 Curt 56320 Ford Escape Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness: A Perfect Fit for Your Vehicle by Flee Pannell

Curt 56320 works but has a BIG defect. I don't know if I just got a lemon or if it's their design, but there is a PIN or pin on one side of the trailer connector that turns ON when the TAILLIGHTS are on. See accompanying photos. I thought it might be a mounting pin, but if you put this fork in the hitch mount, it WILL hit the ground. Of course, the testing was done AFTER INSTALLATION, so returning it for an exchange would be agony. So my advice to buyers is: check if you have a plug with a pin on the side, test with an ohmmeter to see if you have a plug with a pin on the side to see if it is making contact with a pin in the lighting circuit. Much luck!
